Desert Ochre Limestone tiles are quarried in the Middle East. These tiles have an almost smooth ochre-yellow brown background with an occasional light-dark flame and fossil detail. The appeal of these limestone tiles lies in the variation and detail within the stone. The brushed finish is applied after honing, and involves wire brushing the surface of the tiles giving a consistent textured finish.
This range of tiles is available in a variety of sizes and thicknesses to suit all tastes. The Roman Opus pattern is a mixture of 4 to 5 stone sizes allowing a random laying pattern to be achieved.
